“Who is she? Who was she? Who does she hope to be?”
-The Boys in the Band
Hi, I’m Steph! I'm originally from just outside New York City, growing up in a small commuter town in northern New Jersey. My journey into marketing and communications started with a genuine fascination for my favorite brands and how they strategized their messaging to create some of my favorite campaigns.
Early internships provided invaluable experience, where I independently fostered relationships with local businesses, sparking my passion for community-driven marketing. At Penn State, I pursued leadership roles across several student organizations including the Public Relations Student Society of America and Happy Valley Communications, while also serving as a Lion Scout and Director of Public Relations for the Performing Arts Council. However, my most impactful role was as a fundraising safety captain for Penn State THON, an organization supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer, culminating in a 46-hour dance marathon. As a captain, I led multiple teams and helped to facilitate fundraising efforts.
Throughout my undergraduate career, I diversified my experience through internships across various PR sectors. Notably, I supported PR efforts for top-tier entertainment clients at B/HI and contributed to Amazon's retail campaigns during my tenure at HUNTER. At Penn State Athletics, I managed media and marketing for the fencing team, gaining hands-on experience in sports communications.
Upon graduating early, I continued my education with an MBA at Penn State's Smeal College of Business, concurrently serving as a marketing and communications intern at the Nese College of Nursing.
Transitioning to the Washington, DC area, I joined 300Brand as a Junior Account Executive, initially as an Account Coordinator, and quickly advanced. In this role, I excel in supporting client success through strategic public relations, digital marketing, and event management, particularly within the technology and government sectors.
