About the Performing Arts Council & My Role
The Penn State Performing Arts Council is a student organization at Penn State dedicated to engaging the arts community at Penn State. As a university-affiliate, PAC is able to advocate for arts groups and ensure that their needs are heard on campus
As Director of Public Relations for PAC, my responsibilities include updating the PAC website, social media, and drafting press releases. I also assist in any communications between the Penn State arts organizations and the wider Penn State & State College community.

As Director of Public Relations for four years, I managed the PAC social media, drafted press releases to local media, and fostered community relationships with arts organizations.
Web Design
During the semester, I was assigned the project of overhauling the Penn State Performing Arts Council website. My responsibilities included redesigning the site to ensure it had a contemporary and polished appearance. This involved not only updating the visual elements but also enhancing the user experience, streamlining navigation, and incorporating modern functionalities to better engage visitors and reflect the dynamic nature of the Performing Arts Council’s offerings.
